It takes "guts" to volunteer.
A Scout is Brave

Do not let what you cannot do
interfere with what you can do.

~ John Wooden, They Call Me Coach

Donating money will grease the rails of success. Donating time and expertise moves the train forward.

We love our volunteers!  And we want you to have fun at the same time you are helping change the world for the better. Best of all, you can help from home and from anywhere in the country.

Adult Volunteers
Making your initial communication through Facebook where we can see your picture and profile is a good way to let us know you are 18 or older.  Contacting us through a professional means such as LinkedIn also takes all the guess-work out of the process.

Youth Volunteers
Scouts, the best way to volunteer with us is through your mom or dad or guardian.  It's easy.  Just tell them your interest in volunteering and CC: them in your email to us.  We are very strict about making sure youth protection protocols are followed. If you are 17 years old or younger, we need your parent's (or guardian's) emailed/written permission for you to volunteer.  After that, you can contact us directly as long as you put a parent/guardian in the To: line or cc: line of every email (and they approve your communicating with us directly).  And, we will always "Reply to All" in every communication, so your parent/guardian can see the entire conversation. Should phone calls or similar types of communications be appropriate in the future, we will also require a parent or guardian be on the line at all times, as well.

Guest Speakers
We are always looking for knowledgeable, well spoken guests for our shows. Click here to see a description of what we look for in Guest Speakers and Guest Experts.

Email our volunteer coordinator at Scout.Info@TroopResource.org to find out how you can be part of our team.
